Set against the haunting notes of a familiar Prelude, CRASH is a psychological thriller about the destructive force of repressed trauma, the fragility of memory, and the merciless grip of guilt. Dr. Oliver Thorne—a respected psychiatrist—struggles with nightmares from a car crash that claimed his brother’s life.
Late one evening in his shadow-filled office, he meets a tormented patient named “Oliver,” whose confessions mirror Thorne’s own unspoken remorse. Blood-soaked flashes hint at a scalpel slicing into Thorne’s subconscious until the boundary between therapist and patient fades under the weight of shared secrets. CRASH lays bare the thin line between who we believe we are and what our darkest memories insist we’ve done—trapping us in a hush just before the final surrender to truth.

About the Director
Giulia Mucciarelli is a Los Angeles–based filmmaker, Italian-born and creatively shaped by photography, visual design, and years of creative direction across tech and entertainment. Her films are grounded in bold visual language and emotional precision, often navigating fractured timelines, heightened realities, and the psychological weight of sound. Rooted in performance and psychological depth, her work explores how grief, memory, and identity collide—especially in the moments when those boundaries begin to blur.
"Cinema, to me, is control—of color, time, silence, violence.
A story should seduce, then bite. It should crawl under your skin and stay there. It shouldn’t be built for comfort, but for tension, rupture, precision. I’m drawn to myth and ritual, to imagery that lingers like a half-remembered dream. If you're watching and something feels just off-kilter—good. That means it's working."
